This policy explains how Webseller OÜ ("Webseller", "we") handles data in the applications it operates, including its Google Ads integration. Webseller is the data controller. Our company details are at the foot of this page and on our company page.
Webseller operates marketing software that manages advertising campaigns on behalf of its customers. Where a customer asks us to manage their Google Ads advertising, our application connects to that customer's Google Ads account through the Google Ads API in order to read reporting data and to create and change campaigns on the customer's instruction.
The connection is only ever made after the account owner has explicitly granted access, either by signing in through Google's own consent screen or by accepting a manager account link in their Google Ads interface. We never access an account that has not authorised us.
We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or Google Photos, and our application does not read the personal data of the customer's own website visitors or customers through these scopes.
Webseller's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the advertising management features the customer asked for. It is not sold, not transferred to third parties except as needed to provide that service or where required by law, not used for advertising purposes of our own, and not used to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. No human reads the data except with the customer's explicit permission, to resolve a support issue, or where required for security or legal reasons.
Access credentials issued by Google are stored on servers we control within the European Union, with access restricted to the personnel who operate the service. Reporting data is retained for as long as the customer relationship continues and is deleted within 90 days of its end, unless a longer period is required by accounting or tax law.
A customer can revoke our access at any time from their Google account permissions page, or by removing the manager account link in Google Ads. Revoking access stops all further processing immediately. To have stored data deleted sooner than the period above, write to info@webseller.fi and we will confirm once it is done.
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in our case the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). Write to info@webseller.fi to exercise any of them.
This website sets no marketing or tracking cookies. The hosting provider processes standard server log data (IP address, timestamp, requested resource) to operate the site securely, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page and, where the change affects an active integration, notify the customer directly.
